Sage Intacct costs $15,000 to $30,000 a year for most buyers
Sage does not sell Intacct month to month and does not publish a price list. ERP Research puts a single user deployment at roughly $10,000 to $15,000 a year. A typical total investment is $15,000 to $30,000. Mid market single entity deals run $35,000 to $65,000 a year plus $50,000 to $120,000 of implementation.

What drives a Sage Intacct quote
| Single user | About $10,000 to $15,000 a year. |
|---|---|
| Typical total | $15,000 to $30,000. |
| Mid market | $35,000 to $65,000 a year subscription. |
| Implementation | $15,000 to $75,000, and $50,000 to $120,000 on bigger deals. |
| Per user | Reported at $200 to $400 per user a month plus a base fee. |
What pushes a quote up
| Named users | Full, business and employee users price differently. |
|---|---|
| Modules | Projects, revenue management and consolidations each add cost. |
| Entities | Multi entity consolidation lifts the subscription. |
| Partner | Implementation is done by a partner, and quotes vary. |
| Term | Annual contracts only, no monthly plan. |
Implementation often costs more than the software
ERP implementation usually runs one to three times the licence cost. That is the line most first time buyers miss when they compare quotes. Ask for a fixed fee or a cap, and compare at least two partners.
Against NetSuite, Intacct usually comes in 20 to 50 percent lower for pure financials. NetSuite covers more ground out of the box, so the right comparison depends on whether you need inventory and ecommerce too.
Why the price is hidden
Software sold this way is priced by the sales team, not by a price list. The rep learns your size, your budget and how badly you need it, then builds a quote. Two companies the same size often pay different amounts for the same product. That is why the numbers on this page come from buyers and analysts, not from the vendor.
How to judge the quote in your hand
- Ask for a fixed fee implementation or a cap.
- Ask for the all in number: licence, setup, training and support for year one.
- Ask what renewal looks like in year two and three, in writing.
- Get a second quote from a rival and say so on the call.
- Buy at quarter end, when reps chase targets.
- Cut seats and modules you will not use in the first 90 days.
Ways to pay less
- Buy only the modules you will use in year one.
- Pay yearly if the discount is real, not just a rounding of the monthly price.
- Start on the lowest tier and upgrade when you hit a wall.
- Ask for the setup fee to be waived or split over the year.
- Check the free trial or demo before you sign anything.
Before you decide
Intacct is the usual next step for a company that has outgrown QuickBooks and needs multi entity consolidation, dimensional reporting and a real audit trail. It is not an operations system: there is no native inventory, manufacturing or warehouse module.
So the cost question splits in two. If you need finance depth only, Intacct is usually the cheaper answer. If you need finance plus operations in one system, price a full ERP instead, because bolting on extra systems later costs more than the licence gap.
A common mistake is buying every module on day one. Projects, revenue management and consolidations each add to the subscription, and most teams do not switch them on for months. Buy core financials first, agree the price of the other modules in the same contract, then add them when you are ready.
