Acumatica costs $15,000 to $45,000 a year with unlimited users
Acumatica is the odd one out in ERP. Instead of charging per user it charges for the applications you run and the resources you consume, and every tier includes unlimited users. Partner reported tiers put entry deals at $15,000 to $25,000 a year and mid tier at $25,000 to $45,000, starting from about $6,000 for very small setups.

How Acumatica prices differ
| Entry tier | $15,000 to $25,000 a year, up to about 50,000 transactions. |
|---|---|
| Mid tier | $25,000 to $45,000 a year, up to about 250,000 transactions. |
| Smallest setups | From about $6,000 a year. |
| Users | Unlimited on every tier. |
| Sold through | Partners, not Acumatica directly. |
What pushes a quote up
| Transaction volume | The main lever. More documents means a higher tier. |
|---|---|
| Modules | Construction, distribution and manufacturing editions differ. |
| Deployment | Cloud or your own servers. |
| Partner packaging | Your quote depends on the reseller. |
| Implementation | Priced separately, like every ERP. |
Unlimited users changes who wins on price
If you have lots of light users, field staff checking jobs, warehouse scanners, approvers, Acumatica usually beats per user ERP. If you have a small finance team and huge transaction volume, the per user tools can be cheaper.
Work out both shapes before you decide: count your logins, then count your monthly documents. The cheaper model falls out of those two numbers.
Why the price is hidden
Software sold this way is priced by the sales team, not by a price list. The rep learns your size, your budget and how badly you need it, then builds a quote. Two companies the same size often pay different amounts for the same product. That is why the numbers on this page come from buyers and analysts, not from the vendor.
How to judge the quote in your hand
- Count your monthly transactions before asking for a quote.
- Ask for the all in number: licence, setup, training and support for year one.
- Ask what renewal looks like in year two and three, in writing.
- Get a second quote from a rival and say so on the call.
- Buy at quarter end, when reps chase targets.
- Cut seats and modules you will not use in the first 90 days.
Ways to pay less
- Get quotes from two partners, since packaging differs.
- Pay yearly if the discount is real, not just a rounding of the monthly price.
- Start on the lowest tier and upgrade when you hit a wall.
- Ask for the setup fee to be waived or split over the year.
- Check the free trial or demo before you sign anything.
Before you decide
Acumatica is the one ERP in this group where adding people does not add cost. That suits construction, distribution and field heavy businesses where dozens of staff need light access.
Because it is sold through partners, the partner matters as much as the software. Ask for two quotes, check that each partner has done your industry edition before, and ask who fixes it when something breaks after go live.
Ask about reporting too. Financial reports come out of the box, but operational dashboards often need partner setup. Get a list of which reports are standard and which are built for you, with hours attached, so the first month does not surprise you.
Because the price tracks transaction volume, growth changes your bill in a way per user pricing does not. Ask your partner what happens when you cross the tier line: whether the move is mid term or at renewal, and how much notice you get. A growing distributor can cross a tier in a single busy quarter.
