Kindbody posts $12,500 for a cycle without medicines. UCSF, a university program in San Francisco, estimates $20,900 to $28,900 for self-pay patients. Many people need more than one cycle.

Kindbody's $12,500 covers monitoring during stimulation, egg retrieval, semen preparation, fertilization and embryo culture, and the embryo transfer. UCSF calls its range a high level estimate and asks patients to speak with its financial team for a personal quote. CNY notes its web prices may change. What changes your price
- The clinic. Posted prices range from under $8,000 at CNY Fertility to an estimated $28,900 at UCSF for one cycle.
- What is included. Some prices leave out monitoring or medicines. CNY's $4,999 base leaves out both. Kindbody's $12,500 leaves out medicines, which it says cost $3,000 to $6,000 if not covered.
- Medicines. The dose is set for each patient, so the final medicine cost is often not known until the pharmacy fills it.
- Add-ons. Genetic testing, a later frozen transfer and storage each add cost. Some clinics include ICSI and freezing, others charge apart.
- How many cycles. FertilityIQ says the average patient does more than two cycles. Kindbody says the average is 2.5.
Why one price rarely tells the whole story
Clinics describe an IVF cycle in different ways. One clinic's lowest price may skip the monitoring visits and medicines you need to finish a cycle. Another may include lab work that a third charges apart. That is why this page shows each clinic's own words about what its price covers.
Because many patients need more than one cycle, FertilityIQ says most spend $40,000 to $60,000 in total. Some clinics sell packages of several cycles, some with a refund if treatment does not work. FertilityIQ warns that these programs often leave out medicines, testing and other costs, and says most patients in them end up spending 25 to 50 percent more than the quoted price.

How we got these numbers
Every clinic price on this page was posted by the clinic itself for self-pay patients. We picked clinics that post a number: a low cost clinic group, a national clinic chain and a university program. Each clinic's price covers different things, so we show what each one includes instead of mixing them into one average. FertilityIQ, which collects data from over 23,000 fertility patients, says one cycle cost about $22,000 as of 2019. That is the most recent date it gives, so we show it as a dated fact, not a 2026 price. Many sites repeat numbers like $23,474 as 2026 prices, but we could not match them to a current dated source, so we left them out. This page has no calculator because clinics bundle services in different ways. All numbers were checked on September 26, 2026.
