A US trademark costs $350 per class to file in 2026
The USPTO's base fee to file a trademark application is $350 for each class of goods or services. Two classes cost $700. Extra fees apply per class: $100 if information is missing, and $200 if you write your own description instead of using the ID Manual.

What this price covers
The fees are set per class, so a business selling clothing and printing services pays $700, not $350. These are government fees only. Lawyer fees are extra. Filing does not guarantee your mark will be registered.
What changes your price

- Complete or not. Missing information adds $100 per class.
