Yosemite National Park charges $35 for a private car. The pass covers everyone in the car and is good for 7 days. People on foot or bike pay $20 each, and motorcycles pay $30. Kids 15 and under get in free. Since January 1, 2026, visitors who are not US residents also pay $100 each, age 16 and older, unless they have an annual pass. A Yosemite annual pass costs $70. The $80 America the Beautiful pass also covers entry.

What this price covers
What the park says: We accept major credit cards and mobile payment services (we do not accept cash) when you arrive. If you are arriving in a private vehicle, you only need to pay the vehicle fee (not the $20 per-person fee; non-residents pay an addition $100 per-person fee). All park entrances (except Hetch Hetchy) are open 24 hours per day.
About the main pass: This fee is valid for seven consecutive days for a non-commercial car, pickup truck, RV, or van with 15 or fewer passenger seats. This fee covers the vehicle and everyone inside of it. Per-person nonresident fees still apply.
About the annual pass: Annual pass providing free entrance to Yosemite for 12 months from the date of purchase for US citizens and permanent residents.
Which pass is best for you? A single visit costs $35 for your whole car. The park annual pass costs $70 and only works here. The $80 America the Beautiful pass works at every national park for 12 months, and covers everyone in one car, or the pass holder plus 3 adults where the fee is per person. US residents 62 and older can buy a $20 annual or $80 lifetime senior pass instead. US military members can get a free pass.
The entrance fee does not cover camping, tours, lodging or shuttles run by private companies.
