What this price covers
What the park says: A valid entrance fee or park pass is required to enter Rocky Mountain National Park, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This includes, but is not exclusive to, outer locations like Lumpy Ridge, Lily Lake, Longs Peak, Wild Basin, East Inlet, and North Inlet. Entrance passes are non-transferable and non-refundable.
About the main pass: 1-Day Vehicle Entrance Pass. This pass is valid for one private vehicle to enter RMNP for one day only. All passengers inside the vehicle are covered. Park entrance passes may be purchased in person at any of the park's entrance stations or in advance online at www.recreation.gov.
About the annual pass: RMNP Park-specific Annual Pass. This park pass is valid for entry to RMNP only for 1 year.
Which pass is best for you? A single visit costs $35 for your whole car. The park annual pass costs $70 and only works here. The $80 America the Beautiful pass works at every national park for 12 months, and covers everyone in one car, or the pass holder plus 3 adults where the fee is per person. US residents 62 and older can buy a $20 annual or $80 lifetime senior pass instead. US military members can get a free pass.
The entrance fee does not cover camping, tours, lodging or shuttles run by private companies.
