Acadia costs $35 per car
Acadia National Park charges $35 for a private car. The pass covers everyone in the car and is good for 7 days. People on foot or bike pay $20 each, and motorcycles pay $30. Kids 15 and under get in free. Since January 1, 2026, visitors who are not US residents also pay $100 each, age 16 and older, unless they have an annual pass. A Acadia annual pass costs $70. The $80 America the Beautiful pass also covers entry.

America the Beautiful passes are accepted here. This park is cashless, so bring a card. From May 20 to October 25, driving Cadillac Summit Road also needs a $6 vehicle reservation, sold only online. It does not replace the entrance pass. What this price covers
What the park says: A park entrance pass is required year-round at Acadia National Park. All vehicles must display a pass clearly visible through the windshield. Display federal lands passes, such as annual and military passes, on your dashboard with the signature and expiration date facing up.
About the main pass: Valid for seven days. Admits private, non-commercial vehicle (15 passenger capacity or less) and all occupants. This includes rental cars, RVs, and vans with fewer than 16 passengers. If the vehicle pass is purchased, no other pass is necessary.
About the annual pass: The Acadia Annual Pass is valid only at Acadia and may be purchased online or in person. You do not need an additional entrance pass if you already have a federal lands pass.
Which pass is best for you? A single visit costs $35 for your whole car. The park annual pass costs $70 and only works here. The $80 America the Beautiful pass works at every national park for 12 months, and covers everyone in one car, or the pass holder plus 3 adults where the fee is per person. US residents 62 and older can buy a $20 annual or $80 lifetime senior pass instead. US military members can get a free pass.
The entrance fee does not cover camping, tours, lodging or shuttles run by private companies.
