What this price covers

What the park says: All park visitors are required to pay an entrance fee or have a valid federal recreation pass to recreate at the park. Permits are good for seven consecutive days. Fees apply to those 16 years old and older. Entrance Fees are paid at the visitor center by credit card only.

About the main pass: The per vehicle fee covers all occupants in a single private vehicle. The fee will allow visitors access to all resources open to the public, including auto tours, walking trails, films, exhibit areas, ranger guided programs, and other seasonal activities. If visitors have any of the America the Beautiful Inter-agency passes, these will cover the pass holder and anyone that is in their personal vehicle.

About the annual pass: Golden Spike National Historical Park Annual Pass This annual pass covers entrance fees at Golden Spike National Historical Park for the pass holder and occupants within a single non-commercial vehicle or the pass holder and one passenger on a motorcycle.

Which pass is best for you? A single visit costs $20 for your whole car. The park annual pass costs $35 and only works here. The $80 America the Beautiful pass works at every national park for 12 months, and covers everyone in one car, or the pass holder plus 3 adults where the fee is per person. US residents 62 and older can buy a $20 annual or $80 lifetime senior pass instead. US military members can get a free pass.

The entrance fee does not cover camping, tours, lodging or shuttles run by private companies.
