ETS raised the GRE General Test fee to $249 on August 1, 2026. Many guides still say $220, but that price is out of date. Rescheduling costs $55, and each extra score report costs $40. People who qualify for a GRE Fee Reduction Voucher pay $100. In the US, sales tax may be added at checkout.

ETS says US test fees do not include sales tax, which is added when you place your order. Fee Reduction Vouchers are for US citizens and residents who show financial need, people getting unemployment pay, current Peace Corps volunteers, and members of some programs.
