Botox costs about $10 to $20 per unit in 2026
Most U.S. clinics charge about $10 to $20 per unit of Botox, and many land between $11 and $18. How much you pay depends on how many units you need. The forehead alone often takes 10 to 20 units, while a full upper face takes about 40 to 64. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons puts the average Botox session at about $435 to $530.

What changes your price
- Units. More units cost more. Strong muscles need more units.
- Your city. New York, Los Angeles and Miami clinics charge more.
- Who injects. Dermatologists and plastic surgeons often charge more than med spas.
- Per unit or per area. Per area pricing can hide how many units you get.
- How often. Results wear off, so most people go 2 to 3 times a year.
Botox and other injectables
Other brands work the same way. Aesthetic Education notes that makers of similar products run their own rewards programs, like Galderma ASPIRE for Dysport and Evolus Rewards for Jeuveau. Ask your injector which product they use and compare the full price, not just the price per unit.

Per unit or per area pricing
Esthetica Med Spa explains the two ways clinics charge. Per unit pricing, at about $10 to $20, is the clearest, because you pay for what is injected. Per area pricing, at about $200 to $600, is simpler but can hide how many units you actually get. It gives an example: at $12 a unit, 20 units for the forehead costs $240. A clinic charging a flat $350 for the same area but injecting only 15 units charges you more for less.
Decoda Health says results last about 3 to 4 months on the forehead, 3 to 5 months between the brows, and only 7 to 12 weeks for crow's feet, because the eye area moves all the time. At two to three visits a year, it puts a full upper face at about $1,000 to $3,600 a year.
Aesthetic Education says prices run from about $8 a unit in rural areas to $20 or more in top city clinics. It notes that Allergan's Alle rewards program lets you earn points on each treatment, with new members often getting $50 to $75 off.
