What this price covers
Part A covers inpatient hospital, skilled nursing, hospice, inpatient rehab and some home health care. About 99 percent of people pay no Part A premium, but the deductible still applies.
What changes your price
- Length of stay. Up to 60 days is covered by the deductible. After that, daily coinsurance starts.
- Number of benefit periods. A new benefit period means a new deductible.
