- Days and hours. Two or three days, or half days, cost less than full time.
- Your city. Each school is locally owned and prices follow the local market.
- Fees. A registration fee and a yearly equipment fee add to the first bill.

What the fees add up to
PriceListo lists a $400 registration fee at its Primrose school, plus a yearly equipment fee of $100 for infants up to $400 for private pre K and kindergarten. So the first month can cost several hundred dollars more than a normal month.
First Quarter Finance notes that Primrose does not post tuition online, and you need to tour a school to get its rates. All the schools it called offered one to four day schedules, and about half offered half days.
Read the payment rules too. The Primrose School of NE Flower Mound bills on the first of each month and charges a $25 late fee after that date. It also requires uniforms in private pre K, transitional kindergarten and kindergarten. Primrose calls its tuition all inclusive, so ask your school what that covers.
