- Your vehicle. Complex suspensions on trucks, SUVs and performance cars take longer.
- Worn parts. Bent or worn steering parts must be replaced before the alignment can hold.

Why two Big O stores quote different prices
Big O Tires is a franchise chain owned by TBC Corporation, and each store is run by a local owner. TireAdvise called three Big O stores in the same city and got three different quotes for the same alignment. The gap was small, usually $10 to $15, but it is worth calling around.
TireAdvise also found that some stores sell lifetime alignment plans. If you plan to keep your car for years, a lifetime plan can cost less than paying for several single alignments.
If you buy tires at Big O, TireRotationCost.com says rotation is free for the life of those tires. It suggests using the rotation visit to check whether you need an alignment, since uneven tire wear shows the problem.
