What owners actually pay
Perfect Lube San Carlos says dealers charge $10 to $15 a quart for synthetic, so the number of quarts moves the bill. Oil Changers says most Nissans hold 4 to 6 quarts, and that newer Nissans on full synthetic need a change every 7,500 to 10,000 miles or about once a year.
Perfect Lube also collected owner reports from Reddit. A 2021 Rogue owner paid $106 for a full synthetic change plus $30 for a tire rotation at the dealer, and a local Goodyear quoted $86 for the same job. A Frontier owner said the dealer charges about $90. Another Frontier owner bought a 3 pack of oil changes for $150, or $50 a visit, which is the package price and not the walk in price. A Kicks owner paid $40 on a first visit promotion.
RepairPal estimates a Rogue at $149 to $175 and an Altima at $131 to $154. YourMechanic lists an Altima from $159. Those numbers come from estimate tools, so they can sit above the owner reports.
