Why Tuesday is the cheapest day
Salon Prices says Tuesday is usually the best value day at Cost Cutters. Many salons drop an adult haircut from about $22 to $17, a senior cut from $19 to $15, single process color from $53 to $40, and partial highlights from $59 to $43. It says that can save up to about a quarter on some services, and the salon is often less busy.
Price List Now says Tuesday discounts are taken off at checkout with no coupon needed, and that the senior discount can be added to Tuesday pricing. Seniors may need a photo ID to prove their age.
My Salon Price List says some salons also run Walk in Wednesday deals of about $13.95 to $15.95, and that signing up for the email list can give $2 off your first visit. Supercuts Prices notes that Cost Cutters is usually cheaper than Supercuts but has fewer locations and fewer services. Cost Cutters compared with Supercuts
Our Supercuts prices page puts a Supercuts adult cut at about $22 to $30, close to Cost Cutters' regular price. The big difference is the Tuesday special. At about $17 for adults, a Tuesday cut at Cost Cutters is usually the cheaper choice.
Salon Prices also lists Cost Cutters beard trims at $9 to $14, and waxing like eyebrow shaping at $14 to $21, at salons that offer it.
Other services cost more. Salon Prices puts a traditional perm at $54 to $85, keratin smoothing at $78 to $138 and a basic deep conditioning at $15 to $25. It says most salons take walk ins, but booking online helps you skip the wait.
