What the park says: The Outdoor Symbolic Memorial is free and open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Memorial Museum needs a timed entry ticket, and adult tickets are $18.
Who runs it: The Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum is an affiliated area of the National Park System, owned and run by the Oklahoma City National Memorial Foundation, a nonprofit. It gets no yearly federal or state funding. It is not a park service fee station and does not sell or honor America the Beautiful annual, senior or access passes.
Free passes: Free America the Beautiful military, 4th grade and access passes are handed out at the park service office on the third floor of the federal building across the street. They are for use at other parks.
The museum tells the story of the April 19, 1995, bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. Some parts can be hard for young children, so parents may want to plan ahead.
