What a real estate attorney does

AmeriSave says attorneys often rewrite standard contracts to add buyer protections, like financing and inspection terms that actually work. They also look closely at the title search for liens and other claims, which First American Title says are the most common title problem. It says lawyers in rural areas may charge $500 to $1,000 for the same closing work that costs far more in a city.
