How we calculate this
Prices are for the United States in 2026 from published cost guides, checked September 2026. This is an estimate, not a quote.
What IFS Cloud buyers pay
| Blended per user | About $110 to $300 a month. |
|---|---|
| 100 to 500 users | About $500,000 to $2 million a year. |
| Large aerospace and defense | Over $3 million a year. |
| Field service, per technician | About $80 to $150 a month at list. |
| Setup, mid sized company | About $100,000 to $400,000. |
What pushes a quote up
| User type | Full users cost more than Task users, who use only one process. |
|---|---|
| Modules | ERP, asset management and field service can be bought apart or together. |
| Industry | Aerospace and defense deals sit at the top of the range. |
| Yearly rise | Contracts are reported to rise by inflation plus 2 percent a year. |
| Volume | Big technician counts get deep discounts on field service. |
Full users and Task users
IFS Cloud prices people by what they do. Full users get the whole system. Task users are cheaper and are limited to set jobs, such as a technician closing a work order or a worker on the shop floor.
Before you ask for a quote, list every person and the one or two things they do in the system. Many companies find most of their staff can be Task users, which can cut the bill a lot.
Why the price is hidden
Software sold this way is priced by the sales team, not by a price list. The rep learns your size, your budget and how badly you need it, then builds a quote. Two companies the same size often pay different amounts for the same product. That is why the numbers on this page come from buyers and analysts, not from the vendor.
How to judge the quote in your hand
- List who needs a Full user. Managers and finance usually do. Most field and shop floor staff may not.
- Ask for the all in number: licence, setup, training and support for year one.
- Ask what renewal looks like in year two and three, in writing.
- Get a second quote from a rival and say so on the call.
- Buy at quarter end, when reps chase targets.
- Cut seats and modules you will not use in the first 90 days.
Ways to pay less
- Ask for a cap on the yearly rise. Inflation plus 2 percent adds up over a 5 year deal.
- Pay yearly if the discount is real, not just a rounding of the monthly price.
- Start on the lowest tier and upgrade when you hit a wall.
- Ask for the setup fee to be waived or split over the year.
- Check the free trial or demo before you sign anything.
Before you decide
IFS Cloud suits companies where equipment is the business, such as airlines, utilities, oil and gas firms and builders. Its strength is joining ERP with asset care and field service in one system.
If you do not run a lot of equipment or field staff, you may pay for features you will not use. Guides suggest simpler ERPs for pure finance, retail or service firms.
A last tip: ask about field service on its own. IFS sells it per technician, and big crews are reported to get 30 to 40 percent off list.)();
About $110 to $300 per user a month, blended across user types. A cheaper user limited to set jobs, such as closing a work order. No. Every deal is quoted. No. Guides report no free version or trial.Common questions
