How we calculate this
Prices are for the United States in 2026 from published cost guides, checked September 2026. This is an estimate, not a quote.

What pushes a quote up
| Modules | Password Safe, Privileged Remote Access, Endpoint Privilege Management and Remote Support are sold apart. |
|---|---|
| Managed assets | Most modules are priced by the systems and accounts they cover. |
| Remote Support | Priced per concurrent user, with one license covering 150 assets. |
| Deployment | Cloud usually costs more than running it yourself. |
| Term | Three year deals often cut 15 to 30 percent. |
Each module is its own price
BeyondTrust sells several products that each have their own price. Password Safe stores admin passwords, Privileged Remote Access controls outside access (it was Bomgar before BeyondTrust bought it in 2018), and Endpoint Privilege Management removes admin rights from laptops. Buy the one that fixes your biggest risk first.
Check the growth trend too. SpendHound reports small company prices rose about 36 percent in a year, while large company prices barely moved. VendorBenchmark says rival quotes from CyberArk or Delinea give you the most room. See our CyberArk and SailPoint pages.
Why the price is hidden
Software sold this way is priced by the sales team, not by a price list. The rep learns your size, your budget and how badly you need it, then builds a quote. Two companies the same size often pay different amounts for the same product. That is why the numbers on this page come from buyers and analysts, not from the vendor.
How to judge the quote in your hand
- Ask for each module on its own line, with the asset count shown.
- Ask for the all in number: licence, setup, training and support for year one.
- Ask what renewal looks like in year two and three, in writing.
- Get a second quote from a rival and say so on the call.
- Buy at quarter end, when reps chase targets.
- Cut seats and modules you will not use in the first 90 days.
Ways to pay less
- Get a rival quote from CyberArk or Delinea before you negotiate.
- Pay yearly if the discount is real, not just a rounding of the monthly price.
- Start on the lowest tier and upgrade when you hit a wall.
- Ask for the setup fee to be waived or split over the year.
- Check the free trial or demo before you sign anything.
Before you decide
BeyondTrust suits companies that need to lock down admin access for audits like SOX, HIPAA or PCI. Its remote access tool is strong for outside vendors who need into your systems.
Small companies with a few admins may find a simpler password vault costs less.
A last tip: ask whether cloud or self hosted works out cheaper for you over three years.)();
