What changes the diagnostic on a Chrysler
The Pacifica Hybrid
The Pacifica Hybrid has a high voltage battery and electric drive motors. Faults in that system need a technician trained for high voltage work and the factory software. Many independent shops will not work on it, so the dealer is often the right first stop for a hybrid warning.
The nine speed automatic
The gas Pacifica and many other Chrysler vehicles use a nine speed automatic. Rough or late shifts are a common complaint, and some are fixed with a software update rather than new parts. Chrysler 300 owners
